Real estate sales academy policy statement
Requirements to obtain a Real estate license
You must be at least 21 years old
Be a high school graduate or equivalent (G.E.D)
Successfully complete the pre-license 45-hour basic transactions
course.
Pass the State of Illinois Exam
Be Sponsored by a licensed broker in Illinois (This occurs after you
have passed the state exam)

Materials
Modern Real Estate Practice In Illinois, 6th Edition
(REQUIRED)
Study Guide, Math Packet and AMP candidate handbook (GIVEN IN CLASS)
Optional study materials available for purchase in class
Course payment
Forms of payment accepted are Check, Credit Card, Money Order &
Cash.
Any student’s check returned non-sufficient funds will be charged a
returned check fee of $50.
Refund policy
A $50 fee is non-refundable.
All Cancellations must be in writing.
Textbooks are NON-refundable
Notification prior to the class start date will entitle the student
to a refund of tuition less the $50 registration fee.
No refunds will be issued after the start of the class.
Attendance policy
Attendance is required. Please note all classes are mandatory.
However, credit for absences not to exceed 10% of the classroom hours
may be made up by attendance at make-up classes.
Course completion requires a minimum of 75 percent or higher on the
final exam.
Repeat privilege
- Any student who fails the course may retake the class for a $99.00
transfer fee within one year of the completion date of the class.
